Omg starvation!

Wednesday today, first day of my herbalife diet. I tell you more about that in a mo.
Feeling a bit miserable today, maybe I'm just tired, spent the day running round after roger (my boss) and Marty and Ellie the rest of it! I did manage to fit in a power walk with Nikki for 30 mins which I found quite hard today.  My legs ached and when I got home and then had to walk the dogs I felt even worse.
Anyway day one of herbalife: started off with a shake instead of brekky, oh dear I didn't enjoy it at all.  The shake was thin and grainy and I had to force myself to drink it, was gagging, but managed to get it down along with the biggest vitamin tablet ever.
Mid morning was very hungry so tried some roasted soya beans, these were not bad and kept me going till lunch. Only made myself half a shake for lunch as after my breakfast experience couldn't imagine having it again. Anyway luckily was so busy at work that I only had time for a couple of slurps and a few more soya beans. Had 2 sausages and a few crispy potatoes and beans for tea which was the best ever. Altogether today hasn't been very successful and not sure how long I can keep this up as the shakes are bad!

5 days in!

Hi to all my lovely followers

 Sunday today, had a fab weekend with my lovely daughter Ellie-Jean, we've had lots of fun, lying in bed cuddling, making vlogs, pulling faces, shopping for makeup and generally being silly, it's been great. Marty my man has been working the whole weekend which is pants but it will earn us lots of money. 
Me and Nikki have stuck to our speed walking plan and have been walking every afternoon which has been nice, we have a chat and gossip and keep fit at the same time.
The herbalife plan is going well. I have got used to the shakes now and really don't mind it, the vitamin tablets are a definite no, I just can't swallow them without lots of gagging, the taste of them is just bad.
Still haven't tried a protein bar but maybe tomorow I will, I've been told they are nice but that remains to be seen.  I tried one of the tablets that helps to collect the fat from you food yesterday but have no results that I have seen.
I've been weighing myself daily, my weight started a couple of weeks ago at 10st in the morning and 10st 2Ib in the evening, now on day 5 of herbalife it is 9st 10Ib in the morning and 9st12Ib in the evening , I will put a chart on here if I can so you can all see how it's going.
Don't forget I have also stopped drinking for five days out of seven which will also be contributing to any wright loss.
Don't tell anyone but I had a bag of crisps and a bana tonight instead of a shake but it has finished a fun weekend off nicely.

This weeks challenges!

Hi again everyone

This week I am starting a new keep fit regime.  Tomorrow I start with exercise. Me and a friend will start with a daily speed walk. Should last 30 mins a day and will help with burning extra calories as well as keeping our muscles worked out and hearts healthy.  I have already given up alcohol 5 nights out of seven which will reduce the calorie intake no end!  Later in the week I will be starting the herbalife diet which is a bit extreme but I need to get rid of the weight sharpish and then settle into a routine which will work for me, I should be losing 2Ib a week so in 7 weeks should have lost a stone. I really need to lose 1.5 stone or 21Ib which doesn't actually sound that much but we'll see how I get on. I'll regularly have a weigh in and keep you updated.

Anyway better go and finish a box of chocks before I make a start.

This is Me…….

Hi Guys

Just a quick introduction to myself and what I'm hoping to achieve with my new blog.

My name is Anji, I'm getting on a bit (44), I'm married, have a daughter(jelly-bean-beauty28.blogspot.com), 2 dogs, 1 rat, 1 parrot, 1 gecko and finally 8 koi carp and I work part time at an abattoir (I'll tell you all about that another day).

I'm really going to use this blog as a diary of my mad life with my family and use it as a sounding board when i need to. I'm also going to be starting a new lifestyle this week too so will be doing an occasional special blog all about that when i start.

I'm hoping you'll all love my blog and i promise to make it interesting and a lot of fun, a bit like myself!!!
